AISynq

About

A small firm, run by someone who spent years inside programmes where a wrong estimate cost real money.

AISynq is an AI consultancy. It finds the AI opportunities worth building inside a company, builds them into the systems already running, and measures the result against a number recorded beforehand. It works with startups, software firms, and the funds that back them. It is run by Radwan Altaf and is deliberately small.

The name is one word, AISynq, said as AI sync. Several companies have names close to it in spelling or sound and none of them are this one. If you were looking for a hosting provider or a manufacturing platform, this is not it.

The team behind AISynq

AISynq is run by Radwan Altaf. Before starting it, he delivered software inside enterprise programmes at DHL, AT&T, DirecTV and Accenture, alongside a government project in Singapore and work for Simons Group.

That background is the reason this site is built the way it is. Inside a programme at DHL scale, nobody accepts a claim about a system without a number attached to it, and nobody gets to describe a result without saying what it was measured against. Carrying that habit into consulting produces a practice where the closing document sometimes has to say the number did not move. Most firms in this market have no such document.

The firm is deliberately small. Radwan runs every engagement and does the Identify phase personally, because that step is worth what it is worth only if the person doing it has built the kind of thing being evaluated. Builds bring in a small number of engineers we have worked with before, and you will know who is on your project before it starts.

What AISynq does

Three steps, in this order, on every engagement. The order is the product rather than a presentation device.

Identify

We sit with the people doing the work and find where the hours actually go. You get back a short list of what is worth building, a longer list of what is not, and a baseline figure for each survivor. Most ideas do not survive the second list, which is the point: the budget goes on two things that pay rather than nine that demo.

Build

We build the survivors into the systems already running, rather than beside them. Your engineers review the code, your pipeline ships it, and we write down how it works and what to do when it breaks. If it is not in production, we are not finished.

Prove

We read the same number again once the work has been live long enough to count, against the baseline taken before anyone wrote code. If it did not move, the closing report says so. A number with no before is a claim rather than a result.

What makes AISynq different

Five differences, each of which can be checked rather than taken on trust. The comparisons below come from reading seven AI consultancies’ own websites in September 2026, written up in our roundup of the category.

The price is published

The 7-Day AI Workflow Sprint is $2,500 fixed and the rest of the bands are on the pricing page. Of the seven firms we compared, six published no price at all, including BCG X, LeewayHertz, Addepto and HatchWorks AI. You can decide whether we are affordable before speaking to anyone.

Measurement is in the contract

The metric is agreed and the baseline recorded before any code is written, and the closing document reports what happened either way. None of the six firms above commits on its website to reporting a result that went the wrong way.

You get a list of what not to build

The second list is the deliverable most clients remember. HatchWorks AI is the closest comparison here, and names its sequencing step GenROI, which is the right instinct. The difference is that our first phase is allowed to end with the recommendation that nothing is worth building, and that has happened.

Radwan does the first phase himself

Not an analyst, and not a delivery pod. BCG X fields nearly 3,000 experts across 80 cities and Azumo staffs nearshore teams from South America; both are the right answer at a size we are not. The trade is that our capacity is genuinely limited.

Retainers run on one month’s notice

No twelve-month minimum. Assessments are a fixed fee with a fixed end date, because the output is a written document rather than an open-ended relationship. If we are not earning the retainer, leaving should be easy.

Who uses AISynq

  • Startups. Pre-launch to Series B. You want AI inside the product without hiring an AI team first, and you need the build to survive contact with real users.
  • Software firms. Established product companies with real customers, real systems, and internal processes that take longer than anyone in the room would admit.
  • VCs and accelerators. Funds and programmes that need a technical read on what they are about to back, and hands-on help for the portfolio afterwards.

How AISynq works

You deal with Radwan directly, from the first call to the closing report. There is no account manager between you and the person doing the work, because on a firm this size that layer would be theatre.

Enquiries through this site get a reply within one working day, with a real answer rather than a calendar link. The first call is thirty minutes and there is no deck. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, you get that on the call rather than after a proposal.

Engagements start with Identify, which runs two to three weeks for most companies depending on how many teams we sit with and how quickly access arrives. Build is scoped once that finishes, because scoping it earlier would mean guessing. The 7-Day AI Workflow Sprint is the smaller way in: one workflow, seven days, a working system and the before and after figures at the end.

Why the practice is generalist

The obvious commercial move is to pick one wedge and own it. Support automation, or document processing, or one vertical. The reason we have not is that the specialist answer is decided before the company is looked at, and the whole value of the first step is arriving without one.

On the DHL programme the largest single win turned out to be deduplicating traffic between two systems, with no model involved at all. A firm that sells AI triage would have built very good AI triage for a queue that should have been smaller, and would have counted it as a success. The generalist position is not a lack of focus, it is what makes the first step honest.

What we are not

We are not an outsourced engineering team, and we are not a research lab. We do not train models from scratch, and we turn down regulated builds in healthcare and core banking where the compliance work is the majority of the job, because we would be learning that on a client’s budget. The full list is on the services page, and it is the most useful paragraph on this site.

The honest part

A firm this size has a real constraint: capacity. There are a limited number of Identify engagements that can run at once, because the step that matters most cannot be delegated without becoming a different product. If the timing does not work, we will say so on the first call rather than stretching to take the work and doing it thinly.

Frequently asked questions

What does AISynq actually do?

Three things in a fixed order. It finds which AI work inside a company is worth doing, builds the survivors into the systems already running, and measures the result against a number recorded before the work started. The order is the product: building before identifying is how a company ends up with a working system nobody needed.

Who runs AISynq?

Radwan Altaf. He delivered software inside enterprise programmes at DHL, AT&T, DirecTV and Accenture, alongside a Singapore Government project and work for Simons Group. He runs every engagement and does the first phase personally.

How big is the firm?

Deliberately small. Builds bring in a small number of engineers we have worked with before, and you know who is on your project before it starts. If you need fifteen engineers next month, we are the wrong firm and will say so on the call.

Do you publish prices?

Yes, on the pricing page, which is unusual in this market. When we compared seven AI consultancies in September 2026, six published no price at all. The 7-Day AI Workflow Sprint is $2,500 fixed.

What happens if the work does not move the number?

The closing report says so. We agree the metric before any code is written and take the baseline then, specifically so that neither side can be vague about it afterwards.

What will you not take on?

Regulated builds in healthcare and core banking where compliance is most of the job, model training from scratch, and outsourced engineering capacity. The full list is on the services page and it is the most useful paragraph on this site.
